Morning, all.

Anyone else have the same week we did? Nothing disastrous, just a wrong-side-of-the-bed kind of week, full of days with hiccups, detours and left-clicks when you need to right-click.

"You know how to right-click?" Sarah asked.

Thankfully, we also had a momentous week: the new website - yes, we love it, too - and two recent stories (see below), one of which takes a look back at our first year together.

Next week, we publish the first of two powerful stories profiling three Chattanooga restaurant owners who have transformed our culinary landscape. As in: Chattanooga's Mt. Rushmore type of folks.

They'll tell stories never told before.

Just not today.

Today? We're exhaling, non-laboring for Labor Day and hope you will, too.

Put your feet up, drink one for us and make sure to save the date for our birthday-anniversary party on September 26 @ Cherry Street Tavern. More details soon.

Cheers, everyone.

Happy Birthday Food as a Verb friends!

Commissioner, enjoy the best bonbon of your life
